1st Street and 8th Avenue SW showing the Hudson's Bay Company Store. This was the first building in North America to have a colonnade. In 1929 a new section was added to the 1913 store and Alexander Corner was demolished. For colour postcard view see PA-4086-16. The store now extends from 7th Avenue to 8th Avenue along 1st Street SW.
