Shows the stable when it was used as the Royal Trust Office. The small box at the right of the post was for the Inspector and Timekeeper for the Streetcars. This was the timing point for the city, and was installed in December 1918. The Bank of Montreal was the 'twin' building to Alexander Corner whose architect was 'Deafie', J. Llewellyn Willson. They stood opposite sides of 1st Street SW on the north side on 8th Avenue. Note the glass cage on post for Municipal Railroad.
