During his visit to Calgary, Alberta as head of the British Empire Service League in 1925, Earl Haig attended the Stampede and took part in the general fun. Here he is being given a name and bonnet in downtown Calgary by Big Plume, chief of the Sarcee band. L-R: Big Plume; Long Lance; Earl Haig, shaking hands; Cappy Smart; E. L.
