The Earl of Egmont at Priddis, Alberta.
Frederick Joseph Trevelyn Perceval, who farmed just north of Priddis, Alberta, became the 10th Earl on the death of a distant relation in 1929. He was killed in a motor accident in 1932 and was succeded by the present Earl [died 2001] who sold his farm of 680 acres for over one million dollars in 1959. Then he purchased the Two Dot ranch west of Nanton which was originally started by the Earl of Minto. The farm which he owned on the edge of Calgary is now part of the city of Calgary, Alberta.
