This picture must have been taken in 1925 during Stampede week, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Calgary. The gathering includes J. J. McHugh, second from right in the back row and his nephew Walter McHugh, sixth from right in the same row. The McHughs were pioneers and it is conjectured that J. J. gathered this group of pioneers and First Nations together because they were friends of fifty years.
