Frank Moodie after having been hit by a broken oil well casing, California.
Frank Moodie, centre, was in southern California doing some oil well consulting work. When the casing of the oil well he was examining broke, it threw Moodie 30 feet, knocking out a tooth and breaking his jaw. Note the bandage around his head and the men surrounding him holding basin, towel, bandages and other first aid equipment.
