John Neil Hospital, Cold Lake, Alberta.
Marion Moodie trained as a nurse at the Calgary General Hospital and was their first graduate in 1898. She spent the next ten years doing private and hospital nursing in Calgary and elsewhere in Alberta before becoming the charge nurse at Ninette Sanatorium, Ninette, Manitoba, 1920-1926. It is not known if she ever nursed at this hospital or simply paid a visit at some point, but she identified it and its components on the back of the photograph as follows: maternity wards (top left), Indian wards (bottom left), Dr. MacFarland's room (top right), dining and living room (bottom right).
