During the filming of the approximately 30 minute long documentary called 'Alberta Cattleman' or 'Dean of the Cowboys' in 1965; this film was produced for Richardson's CBC TV program; the documentary film showcased the life and work of Tom Usher; this was in recognition of Tom's many accomplishments as a pioneer cattleman; the CBC also produced three shorter radio programs featuring Tom Usher on Country Calendar for national broadcast.
