The Sunshine Auto Camp was operated by Abram P. Van Buren [1884-1973], his wife Grace Harriet Lilly Van Buren [1901-1984] and their son Peter Van Buren; the camp was open from the late 1920s to the early 1950s and was located near the Macdonald Bridge by the Calgary Stampede grounds.
