Mrs. Abbie Hibner, Veteran, Alberta.

Proprietrix of Veteran Hotel. Born in Three Rivers, Michigan, 1865. Mrs. Hibner emigrated to Alberta in 1912. In 1914 she took up employment as a cook in a Youngstown restaurant and in 1916 opened the Veteran Hotel, operating it until it was destroyed by fire in 1923.
