Wayne Linton was an airpilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Burma during Second World War. He was presented with a Japanese sword during surrender. Awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 1946, Non-Commissioned Officer's sword and flag by the infantry who were grateful for his regular flights bringing in supplies.
