G. R. Farmer's hardware store, Castor, Alberta.

Standing in front of store are Frank Whiteside, editor of the Castor Advance, and W. F. Beamish, also of the newspaper. The store, built in 1909, was gutted by a fire in 1924. Only the sandstone walls remained so the building was demolished.
