At the summit. Note railway track in the foreground. Marker built in 1880s and trains often stopped so tourists could visit. Torn down in 1920s or 1930s. Small trenches diverting water to Atlantic and Pacific still in existence, overgrown by brush (2013). Original print at Glenbow (PD-45-1170). The original negative for this image is at the Provincial Archives of Alberta. To order reproductions from the PAA cite call number B 9842.
