This tractor driven stook sweep hauled enough stooks to keep 28 inch separator working to capacity. Similar sweeps were built during the Second World War to relieve labour shortage. This stook sweep was built by Simpson and used by A. Jans of New Norway, Alberta. Replaced six stook teams and worked equally well for hay of barge stacks.
