Behind the bride and groom are Mr. and Mr.s M. Pieronek, parents of the bride. Most of the guests are Polish miners from the Crowsnest Pass area, Mr. Pieronek was the first organizer of the Polish Society in Coleman and he came to Canada in 1907. Mrs. Pieronek came in 1913 but her father had come in 1897, returning to Poland in 1925. Mr. and Mrs. Pieronek farmed near Burmis, Alberta until the move to Calgary, Albertain 1949.
