Mr. Handzel was the president of the Polish Society in Coleman, and very active member in the Polish Youth and Drama Club unil his wife died. He then moved to Detroit, Michigan, where he had a shoe repair shop. He died in 1971. Mrs. Handzel came from a Polish family that were the core of the Polish community in Coleman. Mr. and Mrs. Jagos came to Canada in1909 and worked in the mining region untio their deaths.
