L-R: Viscount Bennett; Dianne, admitted at age three weeks with club feet and hands; Miss. F. E. C. Reid, matron; J. A. MacLeod, president, Alberta Red Cross. Richard B. Bennett, prime minister of Canada from 1930 to 1935, was associated with the Alberta division of the Canadian Red Cross society from it's founding in 1914. He became Viscount Bennett in 1941. Miss Reid was appointed matron of the hospital in 1933.
