John Gano, photographer, in horse-drawn buggy, Nebraska.

Note netting on horse. John Gano came to western Canada in 1905. He homesteaded near Fabyan, Alberta and opened his first photographic studio in Vermilion in 1906. In 1907 he moved to Wainwright remaining there until 1926. From 1926-1932 he operated a studio in Unity, Saskatchewan and returned to Wainwright in 1932.
