Cropped version published in the Calgary Herald, April 17, 1972. Royal Hotel, in downtown Calgary on 2nd Street SW between 7th and 8th Avenues, awaits destruction. Nearby (at the time) the Capitol Theatre showed its last films before its disappearance also.
