Born Irene Marryat (1868-1965). Married to Mr. Walter Parlby a rancher in Alix, Alberta; prominent in the United Farm Women of Alberta; and elected to the United Farmers of Alberta government in 1921, in which she served as a cabinet minister. For a similar view see PA-395-1.
