Bishop John McLean.
Ordained deacon by Bishop Cronyn of Huron on August 1, 1858 and appointed curate of St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Held that position for seven years. In 1875 appointed to Saskatchewan Diocese. Later was Bishop of Saskatchewan and founder of Emmanual college, beginning of present University of Saskatchewan.
