Arthur White Colpman, factor at Fort Ostell, Alberta.
Born in England, Mr. Colpman came to Canada with the Hudson's Bay Company in 1879 and was stationed at Lower Fort Garry, Manitoba. Married in Rat Portage, Ontario in 1892. He returned to England in 1893. His brother, William, was mayor of Lethbridge, Alberta in 1895; William and Frank operated the Northwest Jobbing Company, a wholesale grocery business and were joined by their brother in 1903. Mr. Arthur Colpman died in Victoria, British Columbia in 1935.
