Published in the Calgary Herald, September 27, 1973. Auctioneer Vern Scown holds the first of Calgary's Alberta Co-operative Agrimart. This steer was bought by Carman Ellis, and the money raised went to the Crippled Children's Hospital. The steer was 1100 pounds and went for $946.
