Oldest log building in Calgary, Alberta.
Published in the Calgary Herald, March 2, 1978. Culture Minister Horst Schmid classified this house as an historic site. It is thought to be one of three Hudson's Bay Company trading posts still in Alberta, dating from around 1876-1881. Owned by W.H. Hunt who died in 1974, who willed the building to the City.
