Published in the Calgary Herald, March 15, 1974. Joshua Walters of Lethbridge, 11 months old, was having problems breathing and was rescued by helicopter. The transport was provided by Jon Pridie, of Canwest Aviation Ltd. The flight made by Mr. Pridie; the first emergency helicopter trip in Calgary, was made available to Bob Lee, the Ambulance Chief in Calgary. After arriving in less than half the normal time from Lethbridge, Joshua was taken to Foothills Hospital, where by the time of this article he was still serious, but stable.
