Along track of Canadian Pacific Railway. Boorne and May number 633. The original negative for this image is at the Provincial Archives of Alberta. To order reproductions from the PAA cite call number B 5954. Van Horne decided to have summer tracks laid along the outside of the long sheds on the descent from the Rogers Pass to the foot of the Illecillewaet Glacier. Trains would use the outer tracks in summer, but would be diverted to safety inside the sheds when winter season came. Snow shed.
