Billy Henry, High River, Alberta.
Emigrated with his family to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1879 from Perthshire, Scotland. He moved to Alberta in the 1880's with the Canadian Pacific Railway construction crew. He ran the Bar XY ranch for three years, moved cattle to the Klondike for Pat Burns and raised some cattle of his own with the Pitchfork brand. He Also worked for the Bar U ranch before establishing his own cattle ranch at Tide Lake. From 1936 and 1947 he and his wife farmed on irrigated land near Lethbridge, Alberta. See NB-9-52.
