Pickets guarding Arthur Evans' home, Vancouver, British Columbia.

Evans was a labour organizer and in 1934 was arrested for being a member of the Communist Party, and for making speeches contrary to Section 98 of the Criminal Code. He served one year in Oakalla jail.
