A native of North Gower, Ontario, Wallace moved to High River area in 1883. He cooked for round-ups, then homesteaded three and a half miles north of High River, where he lived until 1901. From 1901 to 1927 he and his family lived closer to High River. In 1899 Wallace was elected to the North West Territories legislative assembly in Regina, and served unitl 1904. Same as NB-9-64.
