A. gave her a lovely serving tray. At the close of the enjoyable eve- ning a bounteous lunch was served. LADIES’ CURLING NOTES An inter-rink competition was held at Olds on Saturday, March Ist. Rinks were skipped by Mesdames N. McLeod, W; H. Miller, Buehler, Fife and A. Hammer. Each rink played two 6-end DANCE AT HILLCREST HALL ON FRIDAY, MARCH 14th. A novelty dance will be held in the Hillcrest Hall on Friday, March 14th. Good music and a geod time assured. Everybody welcome. 20th Century Motors Win Over Miller & Co. The 20th Century Motors staff won two games of curling from 8. W. Mil- ler & Co. on Thursday night of last week. The motormen won the first game quite handily, but the implement men were not satisfied and challenged for a second contest for the oyster suppers. The challenge was readily accepted - and the 20th Century Motors that their first win wasn’t just luck, as they again won by a wide margin. The oyster supper was served at the Public Lunch Cafe following the sec- ond game.
