It was pleasant to see the recent renovations to the Centre making it a more cheerful place to meet. The first bingo was held on Sept. 17th. with the. second on Sept. 24th. No winners were reported. One more bingo on Sept. 28th with only two to be held in October. On Sept: 24th the old time dance was held and due to the good harvest weather, many seniors were assisting with harvest: in one capacity or another. So the crowd was smaller than usual. However, a good time was enjoyed by all present.. Many thanks are due to the Bowden Seniors and to Mrs. Widmer for assisting the orchestra with their music.
