Pent up emotions ex- ploded at 14:41 of the third period when Baron Dale Kushner snuck one past Grizzly goalie Darryl Cozac to register Fort Mc- Murray’s second and final score of the match. Pushing and shoving gave way to fisticuffs with Grizzlys Jim Dokter. and Trevor Dickie squaring © off against Barons Darren Steer and Mike Kellam. They were meted five minute penalties and game misconducts. Three other players on each team were given game misconducts for failing to skate to a neutral zone when the fights began. Grizzlys Steve Risling, Brent «Morrison and ichis. Dusevic _were | ‘sent to the room where they joined goalie Derek Pizzey who was ejected late in the first period for spearing. He was also slapped with a game penalty. Game miscon- ducts were also im- posed on: Barons Dave Humpries, Shannon Pohl and Kushner. In a scoreless first ° period, Olds earned two minor penalties while Fort McMurray earned three. In the second period, the Barons four minutes in the penalty box while squad. The final stanza the scoring in the first minute of the middle period, assisted by Greg Button and Gary Daniels. Trevor Dickie answered for the Griz- zlys at 16:41 assisted by Chris Bokenfohr and Tom Geib.
