Page 14 Police Reports‘ Vandalized were: Olds Billiards on 50 Ave. where a patron threw a stool through the glass showcase on the ar cade’s snack bar coun- ter. The window on a rear door and a porch Olds From Oct. 17 to 23, the Olds RCMP received 95 complaints, 28 of which originated in town with the remainder coming from the surrounding rural district and neighboring communities, Sgt. Al Taylor reported Mon- day. Of the town complain- ts, four were of a criminal nature as were 13 of the rural ones. Ten tickets were issued under the High- way Traffic Act in town as were 14 in the coun- try. Three charges were laid under the Motor Vehicle Administration Act in the country. One person was charged with impaired driving in the rural area. Two charges were laid under the Liquor Control Act in town, with an equal number of charges under this act laid in the country. There were four ac- cidents in town and two in the country. Two ac- cidents resulted in in- juries sustained by per- sons involved. Five- year-old Shawn Ferguson sustained minimal injuries when the vehicle she was a passenger in collided with a second car on 46 St., Olds. The driver of the 1979 Dodge, Cheryl Ferguson, 27, was at- tempting a left turn and collided with a 1972 Mercury travelling in the op posite direction, and driven by 16-year-old Randy Ilcisin. All per- sons involved are from 3 Olds. A single vehicle ac- cident in the wee hours of Saturday morning resulted in two persons sustaining minor in- juries, a gas pump and vehicle damaged and a driver facing four charges. Kenneth Thompson of Bowden was charged after the ' Up to 1974 Plymouth he was driving allegedly went out of control and struck a gas pump at the town’s Red Rooster Store. Thompson, 16, was treated for minor injuries and released from Innisfail Hospital. A passenger in the car, 18-year-old Robert Raf- injuries but was not treated in hospital. Thompson faces charges of operatirig an uninsured vehicle, operating an unregistered vehicle, driving without due care and attention and possessing alcohol while being under the legal age to do so. eee Stolen during the period were: An un- disclosed amount of cash from a filing cabinet during a break- in the night of Oct. 17 and 18 (Monday and Tuesday) to the Torrington School. Also occurring around the same time, and all believed to be connec- ted:.a tire and rim from each of three vehicles parked in front of private dwellings, and five tires and rims and a cassette tape player from vehicles stored in Ron Dronyk Enter- prises’ shop. Reported Tuesday evening, a raincoat and jacket containing a wallet with $40 in it from the back of Robinson's Store on 51 St.; Olds, the property of an em- ployee. An undisclosed amount of change during a_ break-in, reported Thursday morning, to the Double Two Body Shop on 49 Ave., Olds. Also repor- ted Thursday, a flashlight from the glove box of a vehicle parked in Bowden.
