Wednesday, December 30, 1987 government The federal govern- ment announced a 3.2 billion farm aid package on December 15 that includes a 1.1 billion Special Canadian Grains Program payment and a range of other disbursements. The special grains program will be paid out in two portions. - Most of the cash will be paid prior to March 31, 1988 and the remainder will be paid by June 30, 1988.
