Construction of railway bridge over Red Deer River near Rosedale, Alberta.
Location was probably a railway siding known as Control. Bridge was part of the railroad which ran from Drumheller East along the Red Deer River to a point near Hutton, and then crossed to the south side of the river to join up with the Canadian Pacific Railway Bassano Empress line. It was apparently jointly owned by Canadian National Railways and Canadian Pacific Railway, but was built by Canadian Pacific.
