The Association went on record at its annual convention in Leth- bridge, October 23, that it is pre- pared to set up a committee to help plan the proposed curricu- lum. The committee. will report its findings to the executive commit- tee of the association. eee EAGLE 4-H CLUB The Olds Gazette and Mountain View News Items of Interest Your blood is worth bottling — See your Red Cross for details. se Every 15 minutes someone in Alberta needs a blood transfusion. They also visited their daughter, Janet Bohay, and family who live in Regina. Extreme care should be exer- cised with fire now that the grass is so very dry. A spark from a garbage-burning barrel in Do7 Pound started a grass fire that quickly spread as it was fanned by a brisk breeze. Men who respond- ed to the call for help soon had it under control. We extend congratulations to Rryan French on the occasion of his wedding. We welcome Beth, his bride, to the community, and sincerely hope that she will en- joy living among us. ° The meeting of the Bluebirds at the home of Lyla Robertson, Sr., was very well attended. Pleasure was expressed at the progress be- ing made on the addition to the Community Centre. The afternoon concluded with a tasty lunch serv- ed by the lunch committee. Sam Okman is enlarging his |store. This will facilitate the dis- play of his very complete line of stock. Business must warrant this expansion.
