It seems no one -wanted my job so back to the salt mine. I am happy to report friend husband is home foilowing his six week stay in the Calgary General Hospital and miany, many thanks to you ail for the kindness bestowed upon us in our time of need. Mr. and Mrs, Harold Swan- son and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mc- Culloch attended the gradua- ting exercise at Mount Royal CoHege at the Calgary Audi- torium at 2 p.m. on. April 23. Our congratulations go to Mrs: Hope Hoskin, whose family was also in attendance and to Miss. Wanda Krebs, a grand- daughter of the McCullochs. Rev. Miller was honored on April 28rd by the gathering of his Bancroft charge at Car- stairs United Church morning service and coffee hour. Con- gratulations were in order as Mr. Miller recently received his Bachelor of Divinity de- gree (B.D.). George Richardson. of Port Alberni has returned home‘ but will be driving back to the prairies soon. Mrs. Ira Good is a patient in the Calgary General Hospi- tal. He is doing well now sang “Happiness.” Mr. Willard Pendergast expressed words of congratulations and Mr. Les presented the honored couple with a gift of money from their many friends. A very beautiful pole lamp and matching swag lamp was given on behalf of Mr. Flinn’s brothers, sisters. and their families.
