Both local and eastern order buyers will be in attendance at all times. grain sales drop slightly Exports of grain in the current crop year ending July 31 are expected to be close to last year’s level, J. L. Liebfried, a com- missioner for the Cana- dian wheat Board, said at the Palliser Wheat Grow- ers Association annual meeting here. He predicted wheat and durum sales would be down, barley exports In- creasing and rapeseed sales ‘‘very much _ high- er.”’ During a question period following his address, Leibfreid said quotas for top-quality, high-protein wheat will be ‘‘going strong’ for the rest of the year but he wouldn’t spec- ulate what the delivery opportunities would be for other grains.
