Gordon W. Quick, rancher Maple Creek, Saskatchewan.

One of the first, 1882, settlers in Maple Creek area. In 1883, Mr. Quick surrendered the land on which he filed to the North West Mounted Police so that they could have their headquarters at that location. He moved eight miles south-west to carry on his ranching operation.
