At the close of the show the guest speaker, Mr. Chris Mills of Canadian Cattlemens Asso- ciation, gave an interesting and informative talk on the state of the cattle industry. A Murray Grey steer-owned by Merv Edey of High River was displayed and the crowd was invi to guess his weight. The steer weighed 1232 Ib., and the winner of the competition was Doug Pol- lette of Bozeman, Montana, guessing 1233 lb. Over 400 people stayed to enjoy the delicious supper, featuring barbequed Murray Grey beef, served by the Claresholm Lions Club. A most interesting film on the breed and the country of their origin was shown after the supper. The following day, many visitors from out of the province were taken on a tour of the several Murray Grey winding up with a barbeque at the Glimsdale farm; a fitting end for the most successful Murray Grey Field Day and Show ever held on the North American continent Our Line Is - STATIONERY We try our best to give you a total Stationery Service. The Local Press, stated: Graham did well, placing seventh in the men s 100 m freestyle, in a time of 52.1, the 14 fastest time recorded in the world this year. He also placed seventh in the 50m freestyle at 23.9,... Instead of reading seventh, it should have been first.
