PICKERING and Gravel Hauling 344 Beaver St Banff Will Continue Fight For Lower Licenses Efforts to bring about a reduction in motor car license plates will be continued by the Alberta Motor Association- While the A.M.A. was not successful in its request to the provincial government for a substantial reduction this year, it will continue to carry on a vigorous campaign to, if possible, bring this about for 1951. At a recent meeting of the provincial board of directors In Calgarj', the board gave full en- dorsation to the representations made to the government by the president, H. R. Chauncey, and authorized the continuation of the campaign. During the discussion, It was stated that if the, A.M.A.'s request had been granted, Alberta motorists would have been saved 500,000 this year. It was contended that merely a nominal license should be set for the regulation and administration purposes, rather than a cert violinist, formerly with Vienna Symphony, will accept pupils Tor the summer months. (Also viola).
