The laying of the cable from the observatory to the museum building is also under way, and it is expected that the great weather factory in the clouds will be in full operation by the middle of this month. for the summit of Mt Assinniboine one of the peaks that is considered to be hard to make. Jim Wdods one of the Brewster Bros.' staff of guides is piloting the party. They expect to be back in about three weeks. 6. O. Shields the magazine man who is out hunting and exploring north of Donald is evidently hav ing an interesting time. This week he sent back to Banff the hides of two grizzly and one black bear.
