Wedding picture. In 1901 Charles August Johnson moved from Vaxjo, Sweden to work in the coal mines near Lethbridge. In 1903 he homesteaded in the Allenfield district, but continued to work during the winter as a miner. In 1905 he married Almida Rosarne (Rosaine?), daughter of Swedish immigrants who homesteaded near Fort Macleod.
