Lenore, baby, left. Joseph Bremner was the eldest son of John Bremner who moved his family to the Fort Macleod area in the 1890s. In 1904 he married Mary Wolfe who had recently arrived from County Cork, Ireland. He ran a bakery shop, worked for the Hudson's Bay company and then as quartermaster for the 93rd battery from 1922 until his retirement in 1946.
