Transcription [Handwritten on back:] Dear [Blu?] We are having the most wonderful motor trip thro' B.C. [?] had to see a 'place' so the family tagged on. T.C. Mic [?] & insisted on his taking his holiday at the same time. We started thro'  Bellingham up the scariest pass, camped at an auto camp on the Skikomish - where I think you were with Mrs. Fuller - over the mt 5000 ft. down to Yache [sic - Yak?] / roasting hot dry country rather almost sage rock desert to Spokane - perfect roads. Then lovely farm lands more heat -we lunch [or] bath if poss at lakes or rivers. Then across the border over the most develish [sic] roads. We adore auto camping it's so free & one is so independent sometimes we rise at 5 to get off at 7 am. Other times we take it 'easy' - now the business is over  + we are having a wonderful tour thro' the mountains - I know you know them all Lake Louise Emerald Lake, now we are on the Banff Windemere [sic] Rd. heading for home 1000 miles in front of us & a week's going . As the car is old we daren't make time tho on long stretches it is very tempting - Lots of love to you John from Phil. [Sent to:] M A.L. Harvey c/o F. B. Pemberton Esq. Mountjoy Victoria B.C. Canada [from c/o to here crossed out] 249 Racine St. Chicoutimi Quebec.
