From a Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration album. Old Blacktail ranch house, left, was hauled in and used as an office. Taken using a pantograph. Dr. Clarke and L. B. Thomson were appointed to establish a range experiment station and the site was selected at Manyberries in 1927. The first range experiment station in Canada was established on an 18,000 acre tract.
