The Calgary Pressed Brick and Sandstone Company was started by Edward Henry Crandell in 1905 at Brickburn, Alberta which was five miles west of Calgary, Alberta. It closed temporarily after the outbreak of the first world war; but was operational again by 1916 and continued until it closed in 1931.
