Bicycle was purchased after Florence finished Grade 8 at Hillhurst School in 1922, in order to ride to Crescent Heights High. After taking her first teaching position east of Brooks, the bicycle was used for transportation. Florence later became Mrs. Swanby. Bicycle was donated to the Glenbow Museum in 1987.
