MEDICINE HAT DAILY NEWS. Former Hatter is Under Arrest on Charge of Theft Frank Stocks, Ex-Hat Bookkeeper, is Held for Stealing at New West- minster. Chief of Police Bruce ts ip receipt of a letter from New Westminster containing the information that Frank Stocks, a former resident of Medicine Hat, is in jail there. He 1s charged with the theft of 52 from, a furniture dealer at that place. The Chief also had a letter from the prisoner. He says that the charge is nothing and that he will be cleared. His counsel advised him. to waive preliminary hearing and be sent for trial. Stocks while In Medicine Hat wan employed, as bookkeeper, accountant and auditor.
