Discussions are still Alberta officials ongoing with Environmental about what can be done for the water hamlet. A meeting between M.D. officials, health officials, a representative of the County of Lethbridge - (presently taking care of the water sys- tem) and Alberta Environment is planned on July 5. Fire bill Council agreed to cancel a fire bill in the amount of 600. The Granum Fire Department was called out anaccident scene about two hours after, the RCMP had already responded. The call was made to 911 from a cell phone. Council also agreed to write a letter to officials operating the 911 system, asking them to ensur they are not sending out crews unnecessarily. Bill nonpayment Council decided it will not pay any bills sent out by Telus for moving of any lines in the municipal right- of-way.
